A new inn is in the works just outside of Banff National Park

A new place to stay is in the works just outside of Banff National Park, with the proposed Banff Legacy Inn offering up more than 100 units.
The Banff Legacy Inn, located at 950 Harvie Heights Rd., just outside of Canmore, will feature 132 units across 12 buildings, designed to accommodate both short-term visits and longer stays in comfort.

Guests can choose from four different types of units: one-bedroom bungalows, two-bedroom two-story units, two-bedroom premium units, and four-bedroom two-story units, each designed with a blend of cozy functionality and elegant design, with inspiration from classic mountain architecture.
The vacation rentals start at $590,000, offering buyers the opportunity to own a vacation property in one of Canada’s most popular tourist destinations.
Guests can also enjoy the many amenities that will be available during your stay, including a rooftop hot tub, sauna, gym, cafe, indoor parking, storage lockers, terraces, bicycle parking and e-bike chargers, offering both convenience and relaxation.

It’s in a prime location, sitting at the entrance of Banff National Park, just a short drive from the towns of Banff, Canmore, and Lake Louise, as well as popular attractions like Banff Hot Springs Golf Course, Canmore Nordic Centre, and Grassi Lakes Trail, to name just a few.
As Banff continues to welcome more visitors each year, the development provides high-quality accommodations that make exploring the Rockies more accessible and enjoyable.
The Banff Legacy Inn is expected to welcome its first guests in the spring of 2026, and more information on the project can be found here.
