Michael J. Fox cancels appearance at Calgary Comic and Entertainment Expo

Great Scott!

Michael J. Fox, the actor who played the iconic Marty McFly in the Back to the Future Trilogy, has unfortunately cancelled his appearance at this year’s Calgary Comic and Entertainment Expo.

Fox had been planning to attend the event alongside Lea Thompson (Lorraine), Christopher Lloyd (Doc Brown), and Tom Wilson (Biff), for something of a reunion, but unfortunately will not be making it “due to unforeseen circumstances in his schedule,” according to his publicist, as shared by the Calgary Expo Twitter account.

The Expo also stated that if you have pre-purchased a Michael J. Fox package, autograph, photo op, or ticket to see the Back to the Future cast, there will be opportunities for a refund or exchange.

The rest of the cast will still be in attendance at the Expo, however, so if you want to throw together your own Marty McFly costume, you might just fit right in.

The Delorean time machine will also be on scene for attendees to check out, though we doubt you’d be able to get it up to 88 mph these days.

Which is too bad, maybe with it Fox would’ve been able to add some time to his schedule!
