Incredible meteor shooting across Calgary caught on camera

A meteor was caught on a security camera early Monday morning shooting across Calgary and it is pretty magnificent to see.

The video was posted to Reddit and appears to have been filmed just before 5 o’clock in the morning.

People in the comments couldn’t help speculating about what appears to be a dual streak in the sky. Some said they believed it was just a reflection while others said it was two trails of the same comet.

According to the comments, it also appears as though other Calgarians were lucky enough to catch the spectacle in real life.
