One of Calgary's favourite burger restaurants is opening a new location this week
When it comes to the burger scene, Calgary is home to plenty of exceptional spots. Now, one of Calgary’s most popular burger joints is gearing up to open a new Beltline location this week.
Lil’ Empire, which is known for its smash burgers, is opening a new location on 4th Street SW on Thursday, June 12.
Setting up shop directly under Two Park Central, Lil’ Empire will be serving up its crowd-pleasing burgers, which are made using house-ground Alberta beef patties, topped with its special burger sauce, pickles, cheese, fried onions, and lettuce.

As well as its burgers, Lil’ Empire also serves hot dogs, chicken sandwiches, plant-based burgers and dirty fries.
The new location, which offers space for dining in, will be open to the public seven days a week from 11:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.
The burger spot already has three locations across the city, in Bridgeland, Capitol Hill, and at Annex Ales brewery.
