Beloved Calgary bubble tea shop to close one of its locations
A popular Calgary bubble tea chain is shuttering one of its locations after more than four years.
Kung Fu Tea has revealed that its Hillhurst outpost is set to close, with its final day being Monday, Aug. 10
“After many wonderful years, our Kung Fu Tea Hillhurst location will permanently close on Aug. 10,” it said.
The Hillhurst location first opened in 2022, offering a more central spot for Kung Fu Tea fans to get their fix of bubble tea, milk tea, and more.

“It has truly been an honour and a privilege to serve the Hillhurst community and the surrounding neighborhoods. Every visit, every drink and every smile has meant so much to us,” the team added.
While the Hillhurst outpost will surely be missed, Kung Fu Tea still has four locations in the city: Acadia, Huntington, Skyview, and Carrington.
