Long-standing Korean BBQ restaurant in Calgary to close this weekend
A beloved Korean BBQ restaurant in Calgary is set to close its doors this weekend.
Seoul BBQ, a long-standing spot located at 4336 Macleod Tr. SW, has been operating for years, becoming a staple in the city for Korean BBQ.
However, the Seoul BBQ team shared on social media that the restaurant would be closing its doors for the final time on Sunday, Aug. 9.

“After many wonderful years, we will officially end our operations on Sunday, August 9,” the post says.
“We sincerely thank everyone who has supported us, visited us, and shared so many meaningful memories with us over the years.”
As well as its classic Korean BBQ, Seoul Kitchen is known for its BBQ and sushi buffets.
It will certainly be a big loss for the city, but if you’re looking for one last farewell, you have a couple of days to go.
