Canadian fried chicken spot to open new Calgary location next month
The fried chicken hype continues in Calgary, with the expansion of a Canadian fried chicken spot.
Kukuruku Chicken is gearing up to open a new Calgary location at Marlborough Mall in February.
The spot offers fresh 100 per cent Canadian chicken, which it marinates daily in-store. It’s then seasoned and hand-battered with Kukuruku’s proprietary ingredients made in Canada.

As well as classic fried chicken, Kukuraku also offers chicken tenders and chicken wings, which can be purchased alone or in a combo with sides and corn bread.
Kukuruku currently has two Calgary locations, one at Nortland Village Mall and one at New Brighton Landing.
While Kukuruku has yet to unveil an official opening date, it’s exciting to see the Canadian spot expand.
