Krispy Kreme finally reveals opening date of new Calgary location
The time is finally here! Krispy Kreme is opening its new Calgary location, and we now have all the opening details.
The new Krispy Kreme will open at 9629 Macleod Trail on Tuesday, June 3. As part of the opening festivities, the doors will open, and the signature Hot Light will turn on at 7 a.m.
Donut superfans will want to mark their calendars, as the first 12 guests in line will receive a Golden Ticket, securing them a free dozen Original Glazed donuts every month for an entire year.

The first guest in line will also be the one to turn on Krispy Kreme’s Hot Light for the very first time.
The donut spot will also be handing out free glazed donuts for opening day and the brand has hinted at more surprises too.
The space will house Krispy Kreme’s signature Hot Light Theatre, where guests will be able to watch the magic happen in real time, with the brand’s original glazed donuts crafted right before their eyes and able to be purchased straight off the line.
Krispy Kreme also opened in Edmonton’s Ever Square last year, sparking 12-hour lineups, giving a good indication of what to expect from Calgary.
Similar to Edmonton, the YYC location will also have a drive-thru window and a menu of over 20 varieties of donuts, as well as fresh coffee, frozen drinks, and specialty beverages.
