Calgary brewpub rebrands and reopens after major renovation with expanded patio and games room

Earlier this year, the Kilkenny Irish Pub, a classic Irish pub and sports bar, closed for renovations, teasing that some new and exciting things were on the horizon.
Now, the spot, located at Brentwood Village Shopping Centre, has finally revealed its next iteration. In an exciting step, the Kilkenny has now rebranded as Kampus Brewing Co, a new brewpub concept.
Beyond a simple refresh, Kampus Brewing Co. has been kitted out with its own brewery and now can serve its very own beers on tap, including a classic lager, Czech pilsner, IPA, nitro stout and more.

Kampus’ new brews will also be available at its sister pubs across Calgary, including Limericks, Dixons, Windsor Rose and The Joyce on 4th.
As well as the installation of the new brewery, renovations on the Brentwood space also include a new expanded patio, giant flatscreen TVs and a games room.
For those dining out, Kampus has a substantial food menu of bar classics and Irish pub fare, such as mini Yorkies with Alberta beef, fish and chips and corned beef tacos.
So if you’re looking for a new neighbourhood pub in the northwest, Kampus Brewing Co. may be worth a visit.
