New year, new tattoo, same Bieber.
Justin Bieber’s latest tattoo has been revealed – in a rather unusual place.
The Canadian pop star, who is no stranger to tattoos, has more than 50 tats covering his body, with his latest alluding to his Christian faith.
Jonathan Valena, a New York City-based tattoo artist known professionally as JonBoy, shared a close-up photo of Bieber with the word “grace” tattooed above his right eyebrow on Instagram on New Year’s Day looking over his work in 2018.
The new ink, which is really thin and delicate, isn’t Bieber’s first facial tattoo. The 24-year-old has a small cross tattoo near his left eye that was also done by JonBoy back in 2016.
“2018 was a lot of work for me. Both in tattooing and inner work I thought I would never have to face. So many times wanting to give up asking God to take me home,” JonBoy wrote on Instagram.
“But then I’m reminded what my purpose in this world is through people like you who get tattooed by me and share your life of struggles, anxieties, lost love ones, memories and victories through these little tattoos that have some of the biggest meaning behind them … Thank you to my clients who have become some of my best friends.”
It is rumoured that Bieber and his wife Hailey Baldwin got matching tattoos last year, and if this is their shared tattoo, Bieber has done a great job at keeping his a secret until now.
