It might be the dead of winter, but Calgarians can still take a swim over at Hotel Arts.
The YYC hotspot has always been a go-to destination for anyone hoping to cool off in the water while sipping some cold drinks, and renovations from last summer both glitzed up the pool and gave it the means to operate year round.
Hotel Arts announced the renovations back in January 2019, stating that an inflatable, illuminated canvas from Calgary’s Dynamic Air Shelters was being installed to keep the newly coined Poolside nice and cozy throughout the cold Calgary winter.

Non-hotel guests will be able to enjoy Poolside from 11 am to dusk, while guests of Hotel Arts will be able to take a dip from 7 am to dusk.
A pool usage fee of $10 per person on weekdays and $20 per person on weekends (or anytime during the Stampede) will apply for non-guests.
Now that winter is well underway, we can finally get a good look at the winterized space — and it is looking stunning.
