Check out this 12-hour long horror movie marathon for Halloween

Oct 23 2019, 10:36 pm

Even if you find yourself falling asleep… it’ll be nothing but nightmares.

The Calgary Underground Film Festival is hosting a 12-hour long horror movie marathon spanning seven different titles before coming to a close at 7 am on Sunday.

Things will start off at 7 pm the night before on Saturday, October 26, and anyone who makes it through the 12 straight hours will be rewarded a free breakfast.

There will be giveaways and prizes throughout the night, so the movies aren’t completely non-stop, and there will be a costume contest at midnight.

Anyone looking to join the audience Friday night will tuck in to watch Extra Ordinary (2019), The Evil Dead (1981), Bubba Ho-Tep (2002), Friday the 13th Part 2 (1981), The Slumber Party Massacre (1982), Idle Hands (1999), and Creepshow (1982).

Tickets are $20, and CUFF members, students, and seniors get a $2 discount.

The bar is open until 2 am, and the concession will be open all night (and morning) long, so just be sure to bring some cash!
