Calgary's outdoor comedy festival unveils huge food and drink lineup

One of the funniest days in Calgary’s summer calendar will also be one of the tastiest, and Dished has all the info that you need to know.

The Great Outdoors Comedy Festival, taking place in Prince’s Island Park from Friday, Aug. 22, to Sunday, Aug. 24, has announced its food and beverage lineup for this year, with VIP table service available too.

With huge headliners like Adam Ray as Dr. Phil LIVE! and Mark Normand, Theo Von, Bert Kreischer, and Whitney Cummings also coming to Calgary, it just may be one of the best days out you’ll have this year.

VIP Table and VIP Club ticket holders get reserved seating closest to the stage, early entry to the festival through a private entrance, complimentary Wi-Fi, and pre-set tables.

“With seamless table-side service delivering premium cocktails, spirits, and dishes from Bow Tie Pizza, Ribeye Butcher, SmokeShow Food Truck and more, the VIP table experience redefines outdoor entertainment – allowing fans to stay fully immersed in the show without missing a moment,” said Great Outdoors Comedy Festival (GOCF) in a release.

Adam Ray as Dr. Phil LIVE! and Mark Normand, as well as Ms. Pat and Grace O’Malley, will kick off GOCF 2025 on Friday night.

Theo Von, Chelcie Lynn, and Kam Patterson perform two shows on Saturday, and Bert Kreischer, Whitney Cummings, and Derrick Stroup wrap things up on Sunday.

Local performers will also be showcased throughout the weekend, including Delirium Street Party Brass, Sunee Dhaliwal, DJ Kav, Brody Jackson, Noor Kidwai, Leo Martinez Project, and Todd Ness.

Great Outdoors Comedy Festival is also teaming up with Calgary Young People’s Theatre for an on-site 50/50 fundraiser throughout the weekend, with proceeds going to support their bursary program and the expansion of their growing improv program.
