One of Calgary's most popular Korean restaurants has just reopened in a new location

Late last year, we learnt of the sad closure of one of Calgary’s most popular Korean restaurants. Since then, we’ve been waiting with bated breath to see what was next for Roy’s Korean Kitchen.
Now, we can finally rejoice in the fact that Roy’s Korean Kitchen has reopened in a brand-new location in Heritage Square.
A departure from its previous locations in Mission and The District at Beltline food hall, the new, larger space is designed to offer guests a blend of modern and traditional Korean cuisine with quick service.

Roy’s Korean Kitchen has been spearheaded by Chef Roy Oh, who opened the renowned 17th Avenue spot Anju in 2008, and has been a mainstay in Calgary’s culinary scene for years. The menu has been crafted in collaboration with Oh’s business partner, Chef Anna Jeong.
From its new location, diners will be able to enjoy menu staples such as the KFC sando, soy maple Brussels sprouts, grilled shortribs, and oxtail tortellini.
For those not able to make it down to Heritage Square, dishes will also be available for takeout and delivery.
We’re thrilled to see Roy’s Korean Kitchen making a comeback.
