Popular Mediterranean restaurant opens in downtown Calgary
A popular quick-service spot for Mediterranean eats has just opened a new outpost right in the heart of downtown Calgary.
Garbanzo’s, a Calgary-born takeout concept, has just opened its second outpost at the Gulf Canada Square food court, and with its signature bright green branding, it’s hard to miss.
The spot specializes in Mediterranean cuisine but offers a twist with bold flavours and plenty of colour. On the menu, diners can opt for packed rice bowls, house-baked pitas or salads topped with anything from charcoal chicken or pork to falafel.

For those working or visiting the downtown core on weekdays, Garbanzo’s will be open for lunch from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Calgarians can also find Garbanzo’s original location tucked inside Blush Lane Market in Bridgeland.
