Hugely popular artisanal donut shop opens a new Calgary location

Calgary’s newest artisanal donut shop has arrived earlier than expected!

Doughnut Party, the popular Edmonton-based donut spot, revealed it would be setting up shop in Marda Loop earlier this year.

While the spot was initially slated to open in March, Doughnut Party managed to sneak in an opening before February is out at its new space at 2205 33rd Ave. SW, right next to Sammie Cafe.

Doughnut Party started as a homemade farmers’ market spot in 2017 but has since branched out with three brick-and-mortar locations in Edmonton and one in Calgary’s Inglewood neighbourhood, which opened last year.

In addition to its signature artisanal donuts and hot coffee, the Marda Loop spot will be Doughnut Party’s first to offer espresso-based drinks, with an expanded menu.

It’s exciting to see the YEG spot continue its Alberta expansion!
