Flair is bringing back a direct route from Calgary to a sunny Mexico destination

If you’re already planning to escape the winter chill in Calgary, Flair Airlines just announced the return of a direct Mexico flight this December.
The airline announced on Tuesday that nonstop flights between Cancun, Mexico, and three Canadian cities, including Calgary, will return in December 2026 for the winter travel season.
The Calgary to Cancun route will operate four times per week from Dec. 17, 2026, to April 6, 2027, giving Calgarians a direct escape to one of Mexico’s most popular beach destinations.

Tickets for the flights are on sale now through the Flair Airlines website. So if you’re looking to ditch the anticipated snow for sunshine and beaches, now might be the perfect time to start planning a winter getaway to those sandy shores.
This is just the latest in flights that have been added to YYC’s lineup this year, including a brand-new route to South America, three new domestic locations, and even more sunny Mexico getaways.
