“We can’t wait to bring this star-studded lineup to Calgary,” said Troy Vollhoffer, Country Thunder CEO, in a statement. “Alberta is home to some of the most passionate country music fans in the world and our top priority is to deliver world-class entertainment to them year after year.
“I think we’ve knocked it out of the park this year and I know fans will think so, too.”
This year’s Country Thunder lineup is seriously stacked with some big stars, with Cody Johnson, Bailey Zimmerman, and Old Dominion set to headline the festival.
Also taking to the mainstage are hit country singers Ashley McBryde, Jake Owen, Riley Green, Calgary’s own Lindsay Ell, and many more.
And we’re not kidding that this year’s fest is jam-packed with music, as there will also be the Country 105 stage to check out all three days.
Sing and dance along with homegrown talents like Hillside Outlaws, Beamer Wigley, and Nolan Compton.

Country Thunder tickets are available now, and there are some special summer offers to be had.
A single-day general admission ticket is only $99, which works out to be less than $20 per mainstage act. There’s also the Bud Light Summer Six-Pack deal, where your crew can buy five general admission or gold zone tickets and the sixth is free.
To help you stay refreshed and energized for the festivities, Country Thunder will be setting up two bars, a beer hall, two water fill stations, and a food court. Expect to enjoy all your summer favourites while taking in the great live performances.
