Costco Canada has issued a new recall, and shoppers may want to double-check their fridges to see if they have the affected product.
On Wednesday, Costco Canada issued a statement notifying customers that it’s recalling a pizza kit due to the risk of mould.
According to the notice by Ontario-based company Molinaro’s Fine Italian Foods, the recall involves the Gino Bambino Gluten Free Pizza Kit, which was sold at Costco warehouses, Costco Business Centers, or on Costco.ca. It was sold between December 2025 and April 2026.
The recalled products can be identified by their lot codes and best-before dates: 2026 AL 22 and 2026 AL 28. Customers are urged to check if their purchase is part of the recall.
“Please do not consume, serve, use, sell, or distribute the Gino Bambino Gluten Free Pizza Kits that are being recalled,” reads the statement.

If you have the affected product, you can return it to a Costco warehouse location for a full refund.
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) also issued a nationwide recall for the product. It has categorized the recall as a class three.
According to the agency, a class three recall means that there is “low risk that consuming the food may result in any undesirable health problems.”
“This class also includes food that do not pose a health risk, but that do not comply with legislation,” reads the site.

There were also other recent recalls for products sold at Costco Canada.
On April 13, the CFIA issued a recall of a brand of beef and pork jerky due to mould. On April 1, Costco Canada announced that it was recalling seafood sold at several locations due to a listeria risk.
