The sister restaurant to Kensington’s Hayden Block Smoke & Whiskey BBQ spot, Cardinale, officially opened its doors a few weeks ago – and let’s just say we are glad bathing suit season is over.

This eatery has freshly-made pasta that we can’t stay away from.

Patrons who have eaten at the modern Italian spot in the historic Dafoe Building in Victoria Park will tell you: the grub is good, and the stiff craft cocktails are even better.

This eatery now operates in the former space of Italian joints Gnocchi’s Pasta House, Valenti’s, and most recently La Vita E Bella.
