Calgary weather: A rainy week to be followed by a sunny weekend
Say goodbye to that summer sun — and hopefully the smoky haze as well — as three days of rain is on the docket for Calgary weather this week, beginning as early as Tuesday.
Wednesday and Thursday both have a 90% chance of precipitation, according to the Weather Network, and both Tuesday and Friday will see a chance of showers.
If you made outdoor plans for Tuesday during the day, however, you should be safe (and dry), as the rain isn’t set to start until Tuesday night.
The clouds are expected to part over the weekend, when temperatures will reach upwards of 18°C.
It may not quite be the tanning weather we’ve been enjoying these past few months, but at least the rain could potentially disperse the smoke surrounding the city—meaning clear skies on the weekend and the feeling of unimpeded sunshine.
With only one weekend left of summer, we’ll take anything we can get.
