Sunshine returns to Calgary this week, but still a chance of snow

Nov 7 2017, 2:47 am

Don’t forget your sunglasses, Calgary!

The sun is making a reappearance after a week of snow to bless the city with some of that sweet, sweet vitamin D.

While the sun may be shining, don’t let that trick you into leaving the house in summer garb; it’s still a cold one out there, with Tuesday getting as low as -13°C (and a 60% chance of flurries, but that’s just Tuesday, so don’t worry).

Temperatures will actually get above freezing during the weekend, with Friday seeing a blazing hot 3°C high, along with a mix of sun and clouds.

Saturday and Sunday follow up with highs of 2°C and 1°C respectively, so you may even be able to leave the house with a few less layers of sweaters.

Soak it up while you can, because winter is coming basically here already.
