Calgary surpasses November's average snowfall in the month's first 5 days

This might have to be the season you finally take that trip down south, because winter is already here in full force.

With Calgary seeing 17.4 cm of snow in just the first five days of November, the total snowfall has already surpassed the average (16 cm) for the entire month, according to weatherstats.ca.

And that’s not to say that Jack Frost is done with us quite yet, as more snow is expected next week, though there will be a few days before that without any flurry-filled skies.

Temperatures this past week have plunged to an icy -16°C (though it felt like -24°C), and with nothing but negative temperatures from here on out, not even the hardiest of rain dances will be able to liquify the snows as they fall.

That tropical vacation just keeps sounding better and better….
