101 things to do in Calgary this summer

Jun 21 2017, 4:01 pm

Calgary is an amazing city. It provides locals and travelers with an overabundance of exciting adventures and things to do, especially in summer.

The city is buzzing with a unique entrepreneurial spirit that ensures that there is always a new brew to sip on, type of ice cream to bring you back to your youth or bumping patio that you simply can’t miss out on.

And Summer is the season that Calgarians wait all year long for, as it welcomes the much anticipated “Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth,” that you can guarantee will live up to its claim, along with a variety of music festivals, markets, and athletic activities that will keep you busy in the midst of a well-known heat-wave, or out-of-the-blue rain storm.

This is by far the best time of year to be in Calgary and it’s a guarantee that there will never be a dull moment all season long.
