7 Calgary neighbourhoods that are the most in-demand right now

Calgary homes are flying off the market in some areas of the city, while other listings are sitting for over three months.
The digital real estate platform Wahi released its September 2025 report, showing that several Calgary neighbourhoods have homes that are selling in less than three weeks.
Here are the seven fastest-selling neighbourhoods in Calgary as of September:
- MacEwan Glen, with an average of 19 days on the market
- Christie Park, with an average of 19 days on the market
- Mayland Heights, with an average of 20 days on the market
- Marlborough Park, with an average of 20 days on the market
- Deer Run, with an average of 20 days on the market
- Cougar Ridge, with an average of 20 days on the market
- Parkland, with an average of 20 days on the market

Wahi
MacEwan Glen and Christie Park share the top spot, with homes in each neighbourhood averaging just 19 days on the market. Last month, West Hillhurst led the list with an average of five days on the market.
At the other end of the spectrum, some Calgary homes are taking more than three months to sell.
Here are the five slowest-selling neighbourhoods in Calgary as of September:
- Pine Creek, with an average of 101 days on the market
- Downtown West End, with an average of 78 days on the market
- Seton, with an average of 75 days on the market
- University District, with an average of 72 days on the market
- Southview, with an average of 69 days on the market

Last month, Hillhurst was the slowest-selling neighbourhood in Calgary, with homes averaging 144 days on the market.
