These eight Calgary neighbourhoods are the most in demand right now

If you’re on the hunt for a home in Calgary, you might want to act fast, as a new real estate report just revealed which neighbourhoods are the most in demand, and they all have homes flying off the market in three weeks or less.
Digital real estate platform Wahi just released its July 2026 report on the fastest and slowest-selling neighbourhoods in the city with at least five sales.
Here are the eight fastest-selling neighbourhoods with at least five sales in Calgary as of July 2026:
- Country Hills Village, with an average of 14 days on the market
- Cougar Ridge, with an average of 18 days on the market
- Hounsfield Heights-Briar Hill, with an average of 18 days on the market
- Maple Ridge, with an average of 20 days on the market
- Sundance, with an average of 21 days on the market
- Silver Springs, with an average of 21 days on the market
- Sandstone Valley, with an average of 21 days on the market
- Citadel, with an average of 21 days on the market
Country Hills Village took the top spot in July, with homes flying off the market in an average of two weeks. Cougar Ridge followed with homes selling in just 18 days.

Cougar Ridge also has the highest median sold price at $895,000. On the other hand, Country Hills Village had the lowest median sold price at just $362,000.
Wahi also revealed the slowest-selling neighbourhoods in Calgary, with some neighbourhoods taking almost three months to sell homes.
Here are the five slowest-selling neighbourhoods with at least five sales in Calgary as of July 2026:
- Downtown Commercial Core, with an average of 85 days on the market
- Hillhurst, with an average of 79 days on the market
- Belvedere, with an average of 72 days on the market
- Arbour Lake, with an average of 71 days on the market
- University District, with an average of 68 days on the market
Downtown Commercial Core led the pack with homes taking just under three whole months to sell. Hillhurst was the most expensive neighbourhood on the list with a median sold price of $752,500, and Belvedere had the lowest median sold price at $280,000.
