These are the 10 most expensive neighbourhoods in Calgary right now

A January real estate report just revealed the most expensive neighbourhoods in Calgary, and three of them have median sold prices of over $1 million.

The digital real estate platform Wahi released its monthly housing report showing which 10 Calgary neighbourhoods with at least five sales had the highest and lowest median sold prices in January 2026.

Here are the 10 most expensive neighbourhoods in Calgary as of January 2026:

  1. Discovery Ridge, with a median sold price of $1,257,500
  2. Aspen Woods, with a median sold price of $1,135,000
  3. Altadore, with a median sold price of $1,129,750
  4. Parkdale, with a median sold price of $997,500
  5. Mount Pleasant, with a median sold price of $865,000
  6. Killarney/Glengarry, with a median sold price of $844,950
  7. Strathcona Park, with a median sold price of $844,000
  8. Lake Bonavista, with a median sold price of $800,500
  9. Montgomery, with a median sold price of $782,500
  10. Glenbrook, with a median sold price of $765,000

Discovery Ridge took the top spot on the list with a median sold price of $1.257,500. It was also the fastest-selling neighbourhood in the city, with homes flying off the market in just 16 days.

Last month, Altadore came in 10th place with a median sold price of $791,000, but has since risen to third place with a median sold price of $1,129,750.

On the other hand, Wahi also revealed the least expensive neighbourhoods in Calgary, with each having median sold prices under $355,000.

Here are the 10 least expensive neighbourhoods in Calgary as of January 2026:

  1. Bankview, with a median sold price of $237,125
  2. Haysboro, with a median sold price of $242,000
  3. Dover, with a median sold price of $253,750 
  4. Lincoln Park, with a median sold price of $259,000
  5. Beltline, with a median sold price of $291,100
  6. Crescent Heights, with a median sold price of $292,500 
  7. Rocky Ridge, with a median sold price of $306,000
  8. Downtown East Village, with a median sold price of $311,750 
  9. Windsor Park, with a median sold price of $335,000
  10. South Calgary, with a median sold price of $354,500

Bankview led the pack with a median sold price of $237,125. Last month, the lowest median sold price belonged to Lower Mount Royal, sitting at a median sold price of $221,000.

Wahi also released a report on the fastest and slowest selling neighbourhoods in Calgary, with some neighbourhoods having homes come off the market in under four weeks.
