Since the Grey Eagle Resort and Casino announced that they’d be opening Southern Alberta’s largest drive-in this summer, we’ve been eagerly awaiting the lineup.
The wait is finally over folks, at least for the drive-in’s May event listings. Grey Eagle just released the first events that’ll be happening next month, and it looks like there will be something for everyone.
“People are looking for exciting activities that are ‘COVID-safe’ and entertaining,” said Kevin Yates, General Manager, Grey Eagle Resort and Casino, in a media release. “We have been in lockdown for a long time, and the outdoor venue located at the Grey Eagle Resort and Casino is a chance to get out and see live events again.”
The 206-car capacity venue opens on Friday, May 7, and tickets are available for purchase online now. The May lineup includes live concerts, drive-in movies, car karaoke, duelling pianos, and comedy nights.

According to the media release, guests will have the opportunity to see a show, purchase food and beverage packages, and even book a stay at the resort’s 4-star hotel, with a view of the Rocky Mountains.
The brand new drive-in has a state-of-the-art stage with industry-leading lighting and sound, coupled with three large LED screens. In addition to the public events, private bookings have been made to host dance recitals, graduations, and corporate movie nights.
