As recommended by health officials, if you choose to participate in events outside of your home, please adhere to COVID-19 health and safety measures, including proper physical distancing, mask-wearing, and frequent handwashing. If you are sick, please stay home.

Possibly one of the best parts of skiing is the après, so what if we told you that you can have that experience right here in the city, without the freezing temperatures and sore legs?

Originally slated to run until February 28, Bridgeland Distillery‘s ice bar has now extended operations through to the end of March.

Make the most of what are hopefully the last few weeks of winter by visiting the distillery on weekends from 2 to 6 pm (including Fridays) for cocktails and hot chocolates on the all-ages patio.

Sit by a fire pit and sip on the beverage of your choice while enjoying ice sculptures before the spring weather melts them away.

Bridgeland Distillery is ultra-local, sourcing all of their grains from farmers within a 100-mile radius of the city, so you can feel good about supporting a Calgary business while sampling some award-winning spirits.

For those who prefer, free hot chocolate is available on-site too.

Running in conjunction with the Bridgeland Arctic Adventure, participants are encouraged to complete the adventure circuit or scavenger hunt and then join Bridgeland Distillery for a drink on the dog-friendly patio to relax and warm up.
