It may have been a cold one last Saturday, but that didn’t stop a sizeable crowd from showing up to support their local curlers.
Taking place for the second year in a row, the Beltline Bonspiel is the first outdoors curling event to occur in Calgary for over 100 years.

The event included live music, a beer garden, free admission to Lougheed House, a family curling zone, and (probably most importantly) a warm up zone.
The CBC team took home the trophy for the second year in a row, and they were seen taking a sip of victory champagne from the gilded cup.
