After Alberta saw its first dip in active coronavirus cases in weeks, new numbers from the province are showing that we’ve rebounded right back to where we were two days ago.

As of July 29, Alberta currently has 1,430 active coronavirus cases — 33 more than we had yesterday, and the exact same number that we’d had on Monday before seeing Tuesday’s brief dip.

Another three people died with coronavirus over the past 24 hours, bringing the province’s total to 190 fatalities over the span of the pandemic.

87 people remain in hospital with the virus, 17 of which are in intensive care.
