Here's how Alberta's 1075 coronavirus cases break down by region

The COVID-19 pandemic has hit Alberta harder than most other Canadian provinces with the exception of BC, Quebec, and Ontario, seeing a total of 1075 confirmed cases as of 4:30 pm on April 3.

The majority of the province’s cases have been found in Calgary, with 589 confirmed.

A total of 247 have been seen in the Edmonton zone, while the north zone has seen 55 of its own.

Alberta’s central zone has seen 59 cases and the south zone has seen 14 confirmed coronavirus cases.

75 of Alberta’s total cases are currently hospitalized, with 24 in the ICU.

4 cases are of an unknown region.

A total 196 people have recovered from coronavirus so far in Alberta.

The World Health Organization’s latest update states that there have been 976,249 cases of coronavirus across the world, 50,489 deaths, and 207 countries, areas, or territories affected.
