Heat warnings are currently in place for a wide swath of Alberta, with daytime high temperatures ranging between 29°C and 33°C expected this week.
Overnight lows will vary greatly, between 10°C and 16°C, depending on location. There is a concern that the effects of the heat could build over time; however, the heat will come to an end early next week.
