Alberta RCMP say 4 historical homicides linked to dead serial killer

Alberta RCMP says it has linked four historical homicides of young women from the 1970s to a now-deceased serial sexual offender and killer.

Police believe there may be more unsolved murders related to the killer.

More information will be made public during a media briefing tomorrow morning, with a media availability from RCMP set tentatively for 11:30 am.

RCMP added in a news release that there will be no livestream of the media availability, but a copy of the video will be shared in a subsequent news release.

Calgary Police Service (CPS) Major Crimes Section will speak to local media after the announcement at 1 pm regarding CPS’s involvement in the investigation.
