A&W adds three fan-favourite burgers to its menu permanently following record sales
While we always love to see a new menu item from a fast food restaurant, it’s even more satisfying when they choose to bring back some fan favourites.
After proving their popularity with customers, A&W is bringing some fan-favourite veggie burgers back across Canada as permanent additions to the menu.
After its debut on A&W menus last year, the popular Masala Veggie Burger is making a comeback. Inspired by South Asian flavours, the burger features a crispy patty made with Nanak paneer and vegetables, topped with a spicy piri-piri sauce, lettuce, tomato, and red onion in a toasted sesame bun.

For those looking to forgo the spice, the Crispy Veggie Burger will also be available at A&W, featuring all the same components as the Masala Veggie, but with mayo instead of piri-piri.
Another returning favourite is the Spicy Piri-Piri Potato Buddy Burger, a vegetarian treat that was initially a limited-time offering. It features a crispy potato hash brown, topped with spicy piri-piri sauce, lettuce, tomato, and red onion, all served up on a toasted sesame bun.
According to A&W, both the Masala Veggie Burger and Spicy Piri-Piri Potato Buddy Burger achieved record-breaking sales after their respective menu launches in 2024, cementing their place as fan favourites for Canadians.
The new veggie burger lineup will be available permanently across locations in Canada, excluding Quebec.
