Organizers behind Women's March announce "A Day Without A Woman"
Less than a month after their massive global protest, the people behind the Women’s March are already planning another event.
In a post that revealed very little detail, Women’s March shared a photo that read: “General strike: A day without a woman. Date To Be Announced.”
The post was shared on all their social media accounts, including Twitter and Facebook.
Shared thousands and thousands of times, some have suggested the date might take place on International Women’s Day, March 8, 2017.
At this time, there is no confirmation on the date or what the event fully entails. However, given the fervor the Women’s March raised around the world, including Canada, it’s not hard to imagine a massive turnout taking place in whatever way the ‘General Strike’ takes place.
