According to authorities, just before 11 am on April 2, North Vancouver RCMP was called to the 1100 block of Lonsdale Avenue after reports of gunshots in the area.

Officers report discovering an adult female suffering from gunshot wounds.

Nguyen was taken to hospital where she was placed on life support with “non-survivable injuries.”

On Tuesday, IHIT asked the public to come forward with any dash cam or surveillance video taken between 9 am and noon on the day of the shooting.

Nguyen was driving her Volkswagen Passat to her workplace in the 1100-block of Lonsdale Avenue in North Vancouver, where the shooting took place.

“Detectives continue to relentlessly pursue Anita Nguyen’s killer and we need the community to partner with us in solving her murder,” says Corporal Frank Jang of IHIT.

“She was a young mother and we are working hard to find answers for her family.”

Anyone with information regarding this case is asked to call the IHIT information line at 1-877-551-IHIT (4448) or by email at [email protected].
