Much-loved Metro Vancouver brunch restaurant to launch new evening burger concept
While Vancouver has many great spots to grab a weekend brunch, those in the suburbs know that one of the best spots outside of the city is Wooden Spoon. The restaurant has been serving the White Rock community for over a decade now, and now it’s looking to expand into evening service with a new burger concept operating in the same space.
The new concept, called White Rock Burger Co., specializes in the much-loved handheld, alongside mac and cheese, dirty fries, and house-made dips.
“Tired of mid burgers? We get it,” wrote the restaurant. “You deserve better — juicy patties, melted cheese, and a hit of that perfect crunch.”
The new burger concept will operate for both dine-in, pick-up, and takeout through Wooden Spoon’s takeout window around the back of the restaurant.

Wooden Spoon has been serving the White Rock community for over a decade now, and is best known for its selection of brunch favourites, including the much-loved Sweet and Salty, which is slices of French loaf topped with aged cheddar, double-smoked bacon, two poached eggs, champagne hollandaise, maple syrup, and chive gremolata.
While its burger concept doesn’t officially launch until Nov. 28, burgers aren’t anything new for the team. White Rock Burger Co. was actually inspired by a previous burger pop-up, Wooden Spoon, that the company ran.
Additionally, the restaurant is well known for its OG Spoon Burger, a handheld featuring a double beef smash patty, aged cheddar, double smoked bacon, crispy onion ring, shredded lettuce, pickles, Co Sauce, and a brioche bun.

Once open, White Rock Burger Co. will operate Wednesday to Saturday from 5 to 11 p.m.
