New Vancouver restaurant just opened and everything is $10

While many are still mourning the loss of MeeT in Gastown, which closed after a decade of service in downtown Vancouver, a new plant-based eatery has already moved into the same space. What’s even more exciting is that its whole menu is just $10.

Called Dix, the new spot aims to be a late-night lounge offering up tasty bites and drinks alongside plenty of good music and vibes.

Highlights from the menu include the Super Smash Burger Skillet, Chick’n Quesadilla, and Tuscan Rigatoni, which Dix has confirmed are all vegan.

Plus, all of its cocktails are also just $10. The only exception to this rule is its shots program, which sells two shots for $10.

Even MeeT, which still operates locations in Yaletown and Main Street, is excited about the spot, sharing the news about the restaurant’s opening on its Instagram.

“While we’re sad to say goodbye to MeeT in Gastown, we’re thrilled to see new life moving into the space,” said MeeT. “We’ll miss this corner of Gastown dearly, but we couldn’t be happier to see it continue with a new vision and energy. Wishing Dix all the best as they open their doors!”
