Vancouver bubble tea cafe and bakery 'WHEATchat' has closed its doors

In a city where it seems a new bubble tea cafe is opening every other week, it’s surprising to hear that one has actually closed.

The WHEATchat Bakery Cafe has closed its doors in Vancouver’s West End. The bubble tea spot shuttered just days ago on April 30 at its 1103 Denman Street location.

WHEATchat was known for its desserts, coffee, pastries, and the signature happy whale logo on its cups.
The business told Daily Hive they may open a new store with more products in the future.
