Today is the last rainy day before a stretch of sun in Vancouver, but the clear skies are also ushering in cold nights — and it’s forecast to hit the freezing mark by the end of the week.
Environment Canada is calling for overnight temperatures approaching zero Wednesday through Friday, and it’s forecast to hit 0°C by Saturday night.
So be careful on those early morning walks this weekend — the frosty sidewalks could be slippery.
The daytimes should be fairly pleasant, though, with clear skies in the forecast through Monday and daytime highs between 8°C and 11°C.
Hope you’ve enjoyed autumn so far because these freezing overnight lows mean winter isn’t too far away.
