VPD pay tribute to police dog who died battling cancer (VIDEO)
Calling her death “sudden and unexpected,” the VPD Canine Unit said goodbye to one of their own this week, after PSD Bailey lost her battle with cancer.

In a tweet, the Vancouver Police thanked Bailey for her service and said she was a special dog who will be missed.

“The bond amongst canine officers is only second to the incredible bond between police dogs and handlers,” tweeted VPD Deputy Chief Howard Chow.
And on Wednesday, a short traffic procession was held to pay tribute to Bailey.
