A Vancouver man has passed away after being rushed to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The 38-year-old was discovered just outside Parq Casino at approximately 1:30 am. With several serious injuries, he was quickly rushed to the hospital to undergo surgery.
He did not survive.
The Vancouver Police Department (VPD) reports that investigators have made their way to Coopers park, near Marinaside Crescent and Cooperage Way.

Investigators have reason to believe that the victim was assaulted and attempted to walk to the Casino for help.
No arrests have been made as of yet and the investigation is still considered to be in very early stages.
