Dec 2 2020, 10:37 pm

One man was injured at the BC Ferries Tsawwassen terminal, after the vehicle he was driving reportedly went through a second-storey barricade ramp, off the ramp, and fell about 30 feet to the ground below, on Tuesday.

According to Delta Police spokesperson Chris Leykauf, the incident took place around 12:35 pm, while vehicles – including the driver’s – were in the process of unloading after a sailing.

Leykauf told Daily Hive the driver of the vehicle was taken to hospital with injuries as a result of the incident, but “fortunately there were no others in the vehicle, and no one on the ground was injured.”

Daily Hive reached out to BC Ferries for more on the incident but did not hear back by the time of publication.
