Schools in Richmond and Vancouver add new COVID-19 exposures

Dec 5 2020, 2:19 am

Two schools in the Vancouver Coastal Health region reported new COVID-19 exposures on Friday.

Richmond’s William Bridge Elementary reported a new exposure on November 30, and Vancouver’s École Jules-Verne reported an exposure on November 30 plus December 1 to 2.

An exposure means someone went to school while in the contagious period of their infection, the health authority says on its website.

Contact tracers get in touch with patient’s close contacts directly, so anyone who does not receive a phone call can go to school as normal.
