VanDusen Botanical Gardens is hosting an Easter "Eggspedition" this April

Mar 5 2020, 9:02 pm

Staff at VanDusen Botanical Garden in Vancouver is inviting the public to come take part in an Easter “Eggspedition” next month.

According to organizers, the event is being presented four different times, on three separate days, over the course of the long weekend.

“Participants can take part in a giant egg hunt being held in the garden, and everyone who completes the “mission” will receive a prize. Prizes will also be awarded during each session for best costumes.”

Participants can also have their photo taken with the Easter bunnies, and enjoy activities at the garden including live music, kids activities, and entertainment on the Great lawn.

All Easter activities conclude at 2:30 pm each day, and for those who get hungry during the event, food trucks will also be on-site.

Tickets are available through online purchase only beginning March 9, and people can choose from one of four “eggspeditions” time slots each day: 10 am, 11 am, 12 pm, and 1 pm. No hard copy tickets will be available in advance or at the gate on event dates, and no refunds or exchanges offered.

The eggspeditions themselves take place rain or shine on  Friday, April 10, Saturday, April 11, and Sunday, April 12.
