Christmas at Hycroft

Vancouver’s longest-running Christmas fair takes place at a festive Edwardian mansion. It features unique boutiques, crafters, and over 24 local artisans. In the courtyard enjoy mulled wine and hot chocolate or a meal from the food vendors and a holiday tune too.

Comedy Night in Canada

Refresh Winter Market

Mann Farms Christmas Market 2019

JFL NorthWest presents Gavin Matts

What: Vancouver’s own Gavin Matts performs at the Biltmore on November 16. Since winning the SiriusXM Top Comic Competition in 2017, Matts has moved to LA, made his late-night TV debut on Conan, and was a writer on this past season of CBC’s This Hour Has 22 Minutes.

Matts was hand-picked by comedian Bill Burr to record a set for his new stand-up showcase Bill Burr Presents, coming to Comedy Central this January. He has also already dropped a comedy album with 604 Records called Premature, available on all streaming services.

Highstreet Christmas Festival

Highstreet Holiday Market

What: Taking place in Abbotsford and kicking off on Saturday, November 16, the annual festival includes the lighting of a 65-foot Christmas tree — one of the tallest in Canada — the arrival of Santa Claus, Rudolf, Frosty, and “Spandy Andy” the dancing elf, a 40-piece marching band, a team of festive dancers, and live music. Holiday shows run every Saturday, from 5 to 5:30 pm with pre-show festivities starting at 4:30 pm, until December 14th. The shows feature a multi-media light display, which utilizes 6,000 tri-color LED bulbs set to holiday musical favourites. There will also be photos with Santa, Santa’s Mailbox, and gift wrapping and personal shopping.

West Coast Christmas Show
