Pinoy Festival

What: The Pinoy Festival is taking place at Swangard Stadium, with a parade, live entertainment, a fashion show, and more.
For the first time in the event’s four-year history, the huge outdoor festival will be expanding to two days, on Saturday, June 20 and Sunday, June 21.
There will also be multicultural food offerings from across the community, and a beer garden to stay refreshed at.

Vancouver International Jazz Festival
What: The Vancouver International Jazz Festival‘s extensive lineup for its 41st anniversary event runs from June 19 to July 5. There will be more than 175 performances and events, including dozens of free shows with diverse programming on stages throughout the city.

Father’s Day Rooftop Barbeque and Buffet
What: Sula invites you and your family for a rooftop feast for Dad with views overlooking the Vancouver skyline. Enjoy a live barbecue, a full buffet with four live counters, a street food station, and plenty of dessert.

Bubble Fest at Capilano Mall

What: Get ready to pop into summer at Capilano Mall’s Bubble Fest on Saturday, June 20, from noon to 4 p.m.
Enjoy a full day of bubbly fun featuring four live bubble science shows by Science World, interactive bubble performers, face painting, balloon twisting, and more.
This free, family-friendly event will take place in the Grand Court and throughout the mall. Don’t forget to pick up a complimentary mini cotton candy while supplies last.

Smut Slam
What: Smut Slam, the adult-only storytelling open mic, was created by award-winning playwright, performer, sex activist and educator Cameryn Moore. Consenting Slammers sign up at the event to tell a five-minute dirty story, based on real life.
The audience can also ask a question or share a confession in the F-BUCKET, which will be anonymously read out on stage. The open and inclusive event is hosted by DD Brassiere.

Il Centro Italian Cultural Centre
What: Calling all car buffs. Il Centro’s Classica Auto Italiana is a stunning display of classic Italian automobiles and motorcycles. There will also be food and drinks for sale during the auto show, but make sure not to spill anything.

Vancouver Retro Gaming Expo
What: Vancouver Retro Gaming Expo (VRGE) is taking place on Saturday, June 20, at the Anvil Centre, with panels and live entertainment throughout the day.
Attendees at the Anvil Centre can shop dozens of different vendors offering everything from clearance bin deals to collectable rarities, retro gaming-themed art, and more.
VRGE will also have a costume contest, video game tournaments, The Fictionals Comedy Co., and Fistfull of Kicks improv shows, a Fandom Trivia, and There Is No Easy Mode quiz panels, gaming tournaments, and more.

Cypress Mountain Eagle Coaster

What: Cypress Mountain’s massive Eagle Coaster is the perfect activity for families and thrill-seekers alike.
The gravity-fed coaster at the top of the Eagle Express Quad Chair on Black Mountain features a vertical drop of 279 metres (900 feet) over its 1.7 km (1.1 miles) winding distance.
Riders can expect speeds of up to 40 km/h (25 mph). The low-to-the-ground design offers stunning views of the riders’ surroundings and a hand brake so that they can control their own speed.

Kid Cudi
What: Influential rapper, songwriter, and entertainer Kid Cudi is bringing his new North American tour to Vancouver this June, and we’ll be waiting day ‘n’ nite to snap up tickets.
The two-time Grammy winner is bringing The Rebel Rangers Tour to Rogers Arena on Friday, June 19.
He’ll be joined by a superstar lineup of very special guests in Vancouver, including Big Boi and Dot Da Genius.
