Honda Celebration of Light fireworks 2025

Honda Celebration of Light
What: Look up to the sky over English Bay in Vancouver, and enjoy three different types of shows for each of the three nights of the 2025 Honda Celebration of Light.
This year’s all-Canadian lineup includes Yukon on Saturday, July 19, staged by Midnight Sun Fireworks; Quebec on Wednesday, July 23, staged by Royal Pyrotechnie, and Nova Scotia on Saturday, July 26, staged by Fireworks FX.
This year’s festival will include not only a nightly fireworks show and a supplemental nightly drone show, but also a pre-fireworks Snowbirds Air Show on July 19 and 23.

Bark Park
What: The fourth annual Bark Park is a free, dog-friendly public event that brings together dog-focused market vendors, local artists, an off-leash dog run and a larger-than-life ball pit — all in the heart of downtown Vancouver.
Held at Bentall Centre’s Bark Park on Saturday, July 19, you can expect puppy yoga sessions, a PAWshion Show, a beer garden with DJ and more!

Surrey Fusion Festival 2025
What: Surrey Fusion Festival, presented by Coast Capital, will celebrate its 18th anniversary on Saturday, July 19, and Sunday, July 20, at Holland Park.
The massive two-day event is a showcase of music, heritage, and live entertainment. Festival goers will also discover dozens of unique cultural pavilions and food from around the world.

Funbox Bounce Park

Funbox
What: Funbox has returned to Metro Vancouver, setting up the bounce park at Coquitlam Centre for a thrilling and bouncy summer season until Sept. 1.
Funbox is stating that there will be over 25,000 sq. ft. of “bright, bouncy bliss,” with giant slides, obstacle courses, a Ninja Wall, Gumball Gallop, and a maze of play zones for all ages.

Pride in Poco
What: Pride in PoCo is organized with the involvement of Port Coquitlam’s Community Mosaic Roundtable. The event will include live music, arts and crafts, food vendors, displays, and more for the community to enjoy.

Dillon’s Small Batch Distillers: Handcrafted Gin
What: Head to BC Liquor Richmond for a complimentary tasting of the Dillon’s Gin Cocktail collection. The refreshing cocktails blend handcrafted gin with delicious flavour combinations and a big splash of soda.

Voyage of the Gikumi
What: Looking for a unique summer adventure for you and the family? Experience local lore and scenic views on a two-hour guided boat tour down Fraser River’s historic Cannery Channel in Richmond.
Guests will discover how the river has been a creator, sculptor, and provider for the people along its banks. You’ll also hear stories of rum runners, rescued whales, abandoned boats, and more from experienced heritage interpreters. For ages eight and older.

The Cup
What: Get your chicest hats and flashiest bowties out! The city’s most fashionable festival is back this summer, bringing with it some tasty eats and musical performances.

Boundary Bay Airshow
What: Boundary Bay Airshow, presented by the City of Delta and Alpha Aviation, will feature a variety of world-class aviation attractions, including aerobatic teams, Canadian Forces Snowbirds, and more.
Boundary Bay Airshow was first held over 15 years ago and regularly draws massive crowds of over 15,000 to the waterside airport.

Port Moody Ribfest 2025
What: The Port Moody Ribfest 2025 is a three-day celebration of all things ribs, and it’s happening from July 18 to 20. Be prepared for plenty of food vendors, live music, and family-friendly activities.
This year, seven different rib vendors will be serving up their best pork ribs. And while ribs may be the highlight of the event, there will also be other food vendors serving up a variety of meat and vegetarian options. Think tacos, corn on the cob, ice cream, and more.

Big Splash Water Park

Big Splash Water Slide Park
What: Big Splash Water Slide Park in Tsawwassen is reopening for the summer season on Saturday, June 28. The seven-acre resort-style park features 13 body and tube slides, a kids’ zone, hot tubs, and more to help you beat the heat.
Big Splash’s highlight is the Boomerango, an exhilarating tube slide with a six-story drop. According to the park, it’s the only one of its kind in Western Canada.

Red Truck Beer Company’s Truck Stop Concert Series
What: This year, the brewery will be celebrating its ninth year of the concert series with a huge one-night-only summer concert. This year’s headliner is Academy of Country Music Award winner Lanco from Nashville.

Coquitlam Pride Festival
What: Coquitlam’s third annual Pride celebration takes place at Evergreen Cultural Centre and Town Centre Park Community Centre. The fun begins with a free family-friendly party filled with workshops, entertainment, food, and more.

Summer in The Courtyard at Willowbrook

Willowbrook Shopping Centre
What: Willowbrook Shopping Centre’s Summer in The Courtyard offers free weekly events in its outdoor courtyard until August.
Enjoy Monday Fundays with bubbles, games, and activities, outdoor yoga sessions on Wednesdays led by Evolution Studios, and family-friendly movie nights every Friday. It’s a great way to spend time outdoors, connect with the community, and enjoy summer fun close to home.

What: The White Rock Night Market returns for another year with an incredible lineup of food tents, local artisans, live entertainment, lawn games, face painting, and the best sunset views in town.

Family Saturdays at Chinatown Storytelling Centre
What: Learn about Chinatown’s heritage and culture through hands-on activities during Family Saturdays at the Chinatown Storytelling Centre. The event happens on the third Saturday of each month from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and includes guided tours, prizes, special offers from neighbouring restaurants, and free admission for youth 17 years and under.
When: The third Saturday of each month.
