Vancouver Warriors holding post-game country music concert Friday

Looking to add a little yee-haw to your weekend?

On Friday night, the Vancouver Warriors are capping off their game against the Colorado Mammoth with a concert featuring one of country’s biggest stars.

After the Warriors take on their division rivals for a key game at 7 pm, Canadian Country Music Association Award winner and multiple Juno nominee Aaron Pritchett will perform a concert.

He’ll be joined by musical guests Karen Lee Batten & Friends, Me & Mae, Tanner Olson Band and Dave Hartney.

Oh, and if that weren’t enough, there will be a mechanical bull in the concourse.

Since debuting as part of the 11-team National Lacrosse League at Rogers Arena in December, the Vancouver Warriors have proved that pro lacrosse games can be a real party too.

Promising a “full-blown entertainment extravaganza,” it’s also offering a $5, $4, $3 deal for food and beverage in the arena. That’s $5 beer and cider, $4 hot dog and churro, and $3 bag of popcorn — a seriously impressive deal.

Starting at $19.95, ticket prices are affordable — and even more so if you consider getting a free concert too!

There’s also the Weekend Warriors Bud Zone, where for $19.95 you’ll get access to the turf-level area and an alcoholic beverage.
